- Professional licensure or certification as a counselor
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a school counselor in a primary school setting
- Strong understanding of child development and the needs of primary school students
- Experience providing individual and group counseling to students
- Experience working with families and communicating with parents about student concerns
- Experience providing crisis intervention and support
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively work with colleagues, parents, and students
