We are seeking an experienced and dedicated SENCO with a strong understanding of special education and disabilities to join our team at an IB World School in Japan, where you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of students with special needs and align support strategies with the IB curriculum in a multicultural and supportive environment.

Requirements
  • A degree with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching certification
  • A minimum of 5 years of SEN teaching experience in a K-12 school setting
  • A clear and valid police check or DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) certificate
  • Strong knowledge of special educational needs and disabilities, including assessment, diagnosis, and support strategies.
  • Strong knowledge of the IB learner profile, and the ability to align support strategies with the IB curriculum.
  • A clear and valid police check or DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) certificate
