Job Description
Beijing Haidian Kaiwen Academy (KWA) is seeking a passionate and experienced Social Science Teacher (History Teacher) to join our dynamic faculty. As a leading international school in Beijing, we provide a world-class education integrating Chinese and Western curricula, fostering global perspectives and academic excellence.
Job Responsibilities:
- Teach History and Social Sciences to middle and high school students
- Develop engaging lesson plans following AP, A-Level, or IB curriculum (preferred)
- Foster critical thinking and historical inquiry among students
- Participate in extracurricular activities, school events, and faculty meetings
- Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in History, Social Studies, Education, or a related field with a teaching certification (PGCE, QTS, Teaching License, etc.)
- 2+ years of teaching experience in an international or bilingual school setting
- Experience with AP, A-Level, or IB curriculum is a plus
- Passion for history and education, with strong classroom management skills
- Fluency in English (Native or near-native proficiency required)
