Position Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Elementary Homeroom Teacher to join our dynamic team at the Ansan campus. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in creating a positive and engaging learning environment for our elementary students, guiding them through their educational journey while instilling a love for learning.
Key Responsibilities
- Curriculum Development: Design and implement engaging lesson plans that align with the American education standards and SPAS curriculum. Adapt instructional materials to meet the diverse needs and learning styles of students.
- Classroom Management: Foster a safe and respectful classroom environment that encourages student participation and collaboration. Establish clear rules and expectations for behavior and academic performance.
- Student Assessment: Regularly assess and evaluate student progress through various assessment methods. Provide constructive feedback to students and communicate their progress to parents and guardians.
- Parent and Community Engagement: Actively communicate with parents and guardians regarding student progress and classroom activities. Participate in school events and community outreach programs to promote a strong school-community relationship.
- Professional Development: Engage in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance instructional practices and stay current with educational trends and best practices.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
- Ideally, candidates should possess a valid teaching certification in Elementary Education or an equivalent qualification.
- Ideally, candidates should have a minimum of two years of teaching experience in an elementary setting; international teaching experience is a plus.
- Preferred candidates will already be based in Korea, as this will facilitate a smoother transition and integration into our community.
