Calvin Manitoba International School is seeking a creative and enthusiastic Elementary Teacher for the 2026-2027 academic year. This role is ideal for educators passionate about fostering foundational literacy, numeracy, and social-emotional skills in young learners while creating a supportive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment. The Elementary Teacher will develop innovative, student-centered lessons that inspire curiosity, critical thinking, and a lifelong love of learning. This role emphasizes differentiated instruction, formative and summative assessment, and collaboration with colleagues, specialists, and families to support each student’s individual growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, teach, and assess lessons across core subjects, including language arts, mathematics, science, and social studies, aligned with the Manitoba curriculum.
- Develop students’ literacy, numeracy, and social-emotional skills through differentiated, student-centered instruction.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and safe classroom environment that promotes respect, responsibility, and a love of learning.
- Integrate the school’s values, global-minded perspectives, and inquiry-based approaches into daily teaching and classroom activities.
- Use formative and summative assessments to monitor student progress, inform instruction, and provide meaningful feedback.
- Collaborate with colleagues, specialists, and families to support student growth, engagement, and overall well-being.
- Participate in school-wide initiatives, professional development, and extracurricular activities to enhance the school community and student experience.
- Support school-wide projects, events, and initiatives that promote a positive, vibrant, and inclusive school culture.

Requirements
- Valid teaching certification recognized in Manitoba or another Canadian province/territory, or eligibility for Manitoba certification.
- Bachelor’s degree in Education.
- Experience teaching elementary students in core subjects.
- Strong classroom management, communication, and organizational skills.
- Native-level English proficiency.
