❖ Promote the programe both internally and externally to key stakeholders within the London Boroughs of Merton, Sutton, Kingston and Bexleyheath ❖ Working as part of a multi-agency team to support women from the BAMER community to find sustainable employment, further/ higher education or training opportunities ❖ Work with partners and community organisations to encourage the use of employability services ❖ Responsible for offering one to one support and workshops to improve BAMER women’s confidence and pre-employment skills and accessing work placement opportunities.
❖ Improving the opportunities of adult jobseekers (long-term unemployed) by coaching, training and up-skilling them to achieve their career goals ❖ Preparing and delivering Employability skills training ❖ Maintaining a professional training environment classroom management
❖ Achieving KPI's including customer satisfaction, independent career management, jobs and learning outcomes ❖ Working closely with a range of stakeholders including London ESF Outreach Programs, other London ESF Youth provision, National Careers Service, GLA, London Councils and Local Authorities and Job Centre Plus ❖ Delivering first class customer service in the form of specialist impartial careers information, advice and guidance to prospective and potential learners within the FE and HE sector as well as employed and unemployed individuals face-to-face/one-to-one, group telephone or online ❖ Identifying individual skills gaps and how to deal with them; helping young people to draw up action plans for employment, education and training and supporting them to achieve these goals ❖ Planning, preparing and delivering employability skills lecturers to learners, including: Identifying skills /transferable skills; Motivation and Confidence building; setting SMART goals in relation to learning and employment ❖ CV design; written applications and interview techniques – with a focus on helping individuals overcome barriers to gaining sustained employment ❖ Identifying the individual needs of learners ensuring that they have Individual learning plans that link to their long-term career goals ❖ Continually reviewing learners’ progress to ensure that the training continues to meet their identified needs.
