Incheon English Village
About Company
Incheon English Village (ICEV) is a non-profit English language school sponsored by the City of Incheon, South Korea. Located in an immersive, English-speaking environment, ICEV provides an innovative approach to language learning, offering students the chance to practice English in real-life situations rather than relying on traditional rote memorization and exams.
ICEV serves both primary and secondary students from Incheon’s public schools as well as public city officials, creating a diverse and dynamic learning environment. The school operates in a series of practical venues that simulate everyday scenarios such as restaurants, shopping areas, and more, allowing students to engage in situational-based learning that closely mirrors immersion in an English-speaking country.
With over 70 dedicated teachers, ICEV offers an enriching and unique opportunity for educators who are passionate about practical language teaching and want to make a real impact on students’ English proficiency. The school has expanded with the opening of another English Village in Muju and the launch of afterschool programs in Incheon public schools, continuing its mission to improve English language skills through hands-on experience.
At ICEV, teachers play an essential role in helping students develop practical English skills that they can use in their daily lives, ensuring they are not only prepared for exams but also equipped for global communication. To make this valuable learning experience accessible to as many students as possible, ICEV provides partial funding to ease the financial burden on families.
