Tunku Putra-HELP, named after Malaysia’s first Prime Minister, Tunku Abdul Rahman Putra Al-Haji, was established in 1996 by Cahya Mata Sarawak Berhad (CMSB) as Sarawak’s first international school. Over 25 years, it has grown to over 700 students from 20 nationalities.
In 2018, CMSB partnered with HELP Education Group and Ibraco Berhad to launch Tunku Putra-HELP in Kuching’s NorthBank, Tabuan Jaya. Its purpose-built campus offers state-of-the-art facilities and a holistic learning experience.
The school features the International Primary Curriculum (IPC), making it the first in Kuching and 35th worldwide with this accreditation. The IPC combines thematic, creative learning with clear academic and personal goals, fostering global citizenship.
Upper secondary students (Tingkatan 4 & 5; Years 10, 11 & 12) can join The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award, building critical life skills like leadership, teamwork, and resilience while promoting fitness, adventure, and community service.
