Job Description
Badminton School Korea is seeking an experienced and visionary Deputy Principal to shape the strategic direction of our Early Years and Primary division while ensuring its operational excellence. The role involves leading Counselling and Learning Support services and overseeing the Personal Development program, including pastoral care, after-school activities, and events. The Deputy Principal will support students’ progress and adherence to Badminton’s Code of Conduct in a growth-focused, supportive environment. Reporting directly to the Principal, this position is pivotal in fostering a thriving school community.
Age Groups
Early Years (0-4), Lower Primary (5-7), Upper Primary (8-11)
Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years of teaching experience, preferably in Early Years or Primary education.
- Proven experience in school leadership or a related management role.
- Expertise in developing and implementing Counselling and Learning Support services.
- Demonstrated ability to design and lead Personal Development programs, including pastoral care, after-school activities, and school events.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with students, staff, and parents.
- Familiarity with adherence to and enforcement of a Code of Conduct within a school setting.
- A master’s degree in education, leadership, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience in an international school setting is an advantage.
