Position: Elementary Homeroom Teacher

Position Overview:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Upper Elementary Homeroom Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering a comprehensive American curriculum to students in upper elementary grades (ages 8-11), creating an engaging and supportive classroom environment, and contributing to the holistic development of each student.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the American curriculum for upper elementary students.
Foster a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages student participation and critical thinking.
Assess and monitor student progress, providing regular feedback to students and parents.
Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary projects and school-wide initiatives.
Participate in professional development opportunities and contribute to the school community through extracurricular activities.
Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and behavioral observations.
Communicate effectively with parents regarding student performance and well-being.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
A valid teaching license, PGCE, QTS, or equivalent certification is ideal.
Experience teaching upper elementary grades (ages 8-11) is preferred; newly qualified teachers (NQTs/ECTs) with relevant practicum experience are welcome to apply.
Candidates ideally based in Korea are preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
