Epsom College Malaysia is seeking an outstanding Drama & English Teacher to join its secondary team from April 2026 or August 2026. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced teacher to inspire students through creative, high-impact teaching and a vibrant co-curricular programme, including productions, performance, and enrichment.
This role suits a teacher who is confident delivering English and Drama across secondary phases, with a strong understanding of IGCSE and A Level pathways and a passion for developing students’ communication, critical thinking, and confidence.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Drama and English across relevant secondary year groups, including IGCSE and A Level where applicable.
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons that promote creativity, literacy, oracy, and performance skills.
- Prepare students effectively for assessment and examinations, using data to drive progress.
- Provide clear feedback, reports, and academic guidance to students and parents.
- Contribute to the school’s Drama co-curricular programme, including rehearsals, productions, clubs, workshops, and performances.
- Work collaboratively within the department and uphold the highest standards of safeguarding and pastoral care.

Requirements
- At least 3 years of full-time teaching experience in Drama and/or English (post-qualification).
- Experience teaching IGCSE and A Level English and/or Drama is essential.
- A relevant degree in English, Drama/Theatre, Performing Arts, or a closely related field, plus a PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Strong knowledge of the IGCSE and A Level curricula, including exam preparation and assessment requirements.
- A recognised teaching licence (e.g., QTS, state/provincial licence, or equivalent).
- Excellent classroom practice, strong communication skills, and a commitment to student wellbeing.
