Job Description

Epsom College Malaysia is seeking an outstanding Psychology Teacher to join its secondary team from January 2026 or August 2026. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced international school teacher to deliver high-quality teaching in Psychology, inspiring students to think critically about human behaviour, research methods, and real-world applications.

Key Responsibilities
- Teach Psychology across relevant secondary year groups, including IGCSE and A Level where applicable.
- Deliver engaging lessons covering key areas such as research methods, biopsychology, cognitive psychology, social psychology, and psychological approaches.
- Prepare students effectively for IGCSE and A Level Psychology exams, using assessment data to drive progress and achievement.
- Plan differentiated learning to support a range of abilities and learning needs.
- Provide timely feedback, reporting, and academic guidance to students and parents.
- Contribute to enrichment and wider school life (e.g., Psychology club, research projects, talks, academic competitions).

Requirements
- At least 3 years of full-time teaching experience in Psychology (post-qualification).
- Experience teaching IGCSE and/or A Level Psychology is essential.
- A relevant degree in Psychology or a closely related field, plus a PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Strong knowledge of the IGCSE and A Level Psychology curricula, including assessment and exam preparation.
- A recognised teaching licence (e.g., QTS, state/provincial licence, or equivalent).
- Strong classroom practice, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to student wellbeing.
