Job Description

GAFL is seeking a passionate and qualified Economics Teacher to join our international department. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Economics at the higher level within the IB Diploma Programme or Advanced Placement (AP) framework. Candidates with experience or strong knowledge in either curriculum are encouraged to apply.

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Economics, Education, or a related field.
  • Teaching license/certification is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Early-career teachers (ECTs) and recent graduates with strong academic backgrounds in Economics are welcome to apply.
  • Prior experience teaching IB DP Economics or AP Economics is highly desirable.
  • Strong command of English; ability to teach in an English-medium classroom.
  • Passion for teaching and mentoring high-achieving students in a diverse and academically challenging environment.

  • Contract Duration: 1-year contract, renewable annually based on performance and mutual agreement
