Job Description
Beijing Haidian Kaiwen Academy (KWA) is seeking a dedicated and passionate Elementary Teacher to join our outstanding faculty. KWA is committed to providing a stimulating and supportive learning environment where students develop curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking skills. Our elementary program emphasizes inquiry-based learning, academic excellence, and personal growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach elementary students (Grades 1–5) using an engaging, inquiry-based approach that fosters a love for learning.
- Develop and implement creative lesson plans aligned with the US Common Core Standards and Next Generation Science Standards.
- Foster literacy, numeracy, and critical thinking skills through interactive and hands-on activities.
- Create a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment that supports students’ academic and personal development.
- Use effective assessment strategies to track student progress and provide individualized support.
- Collaborate with parents, colleagues, and school leadership to ensure student success.
- Participate in school events, extracurricular activities, and professional development programs.

Requirements
- Ideally have a familiarity with the US Common Core Standards and Next Generation Science Standards..
- Minimum of five years of full-time teaching experience as a homeroom teacher.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Education, Early Childhood Education, or a related field with a valid teaching certification (PGCE, QTS, Teaching License, or equivalent).
