Job Description
International School Lumos Mind, an authorized IB PYP candidate school in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, is seeking a dedicated and passionate IB PYP Homeroom Teacher to join our growing international team for the 2025–2026 academic year.
The successful candidate will create a supportive, inquiry-driven learning environment that fosters curiosity, critical thinking, and student agency in alignment with IB philosophy and school values.
Main Responsibilities:
Plan, teach, and assess transdisciplinary units of inquiry based on the IB PYP framework.
Foster a caring, inclusive classroom culture that supports diverse learners, including EAL students.
Integrate English language, Mathematics, and Unit of Inquiry within meaningful, real-world contexts.
Collaborate with colleagues in curriculum planning, reflection, and assessment moderation.
Communicate effectively with parents and support the home–school partnership.
Participate in school events, professional development, and community initiatives.

Requirements
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Education (Master’s preferred).
Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in primary or PYP environment.
Strong understanding of inquiry-based and concept-driven learning.
Excellent command of English (C1 or above).
International mindset, adaptability, and teamwork skills.
Prior IB PYP experience or training is an advantage.
