Job Description

UWC Changshu China is seeking an experienced and dedicated University Counsellor to guide students in their university application journey and future academic pathways. The ideal candidate will have expertise in global university systems, a student-centered approach, and a commitment to empowering diverse learners to achieve their aspirations. Requirements
  • A bachelor’s degree in education, counseling, or a related field; advanced degrees or certifications in guidance counseling are preferred.
  • Extensive knowledge of global university admissions processes, including the U.S., U.K., Canada, and other international systems.
  • Experience in guiding high school students through academic and career counseling, including university applications, personal statements, and interviews.
  • Familiarity with the IB curriculum and its impact on university preparation and admissions.
  • Cultural competence and adaptability to work in a multicultural and multilingual environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple students and deadlines effectively.
