Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Upper School Learning Support Teacher to join our Learning Support Services Team. This role is pivotal in supporting students, parents, and teachers by implementing inclusive best practices within a Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS).

The Learning Support Teacher plays a key role in ensuring equitable access to the curriculum, fostering student engagement, and promoting progress across all subject areas. Responsibilities include providing direct and indirect support for learners, managing administrative and documentation tasks, and collaborating with colleagues to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment.

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Special Education, Education, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Teaching certification or equivalent qualification in Learning Support or Special Education.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in a Learning Support role, preferably in an international or Upper School setting.
  • Knowledge and expertise in implementing Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) and inclusive education practices.
  • Proven ability to support students with diverse learning needs to access the curriculum and make academic progress.
  • Experience with developing and implementing Individualized Learning Plans (ILPs) or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in managing administrative tasks, documentation, and record-keeping for Learning Support services.
  • Familiarity with the latest research and best practices in Learning Support and special education.
  • Proficient level of English
