The successful candidate will lead and coordinate SEND provision, work closely with teachers and pastoral teams, collaborate with families and external specialists, and develop effective systems for identification, intervention, and progress tracking. This role suits an experienced educator who combines strong classroom understanding with confident leadership, excellent communication, and a commitment to safeguarding and student wellbeing.

Requirements
  • A recognised teaching licence (e.g., QTS, state/provincial licence, or equivalent).
  • At least 5 years of full-time teaching experience after qualification (post-qualification experience required).
  • Proven experience as a SENCO / Inclusion Lead / Learning Support Coordinator (or substantial SEND leadership responsibilities).
  • Strong knowledge of SEND assessment, intervention planning, and inclusive classroom strategies.
  • Confidence liaising with parents, teachers, senior leaders, and external professionals to coordinate support plans and monitor impact.
  • Excellent organisation, stakeholder management, and communication skills.

Desirable (Highly Valued):

  • A recognised SENCO/Inclusion qualification (e.g., NASENCO or equivalent).
  • Experience in a British curriculum or international school setting.
  • Experience supporting a broad range of needs (e.g., SpLD, ASD, ADHD, SEMH) and delivering staff CPD.
Benefits
  • Competitive salary based on experience and qualifications.
  • Laptop allowance and relocation package provided.
  • Comprehensive private healthcare scheme.
  • Generous pension contributions: 11% teacher contribution, 12% school contribution.
  • On-site accommodation provided.
  • Professional development opportunities with a $1,000 annual budget.
  • 100% school fee discount for the children of teachers.
