Due to rising student enrollment, the British School Jakarta (BSJ) is seeking a talented and passionate Primary Music Teacher to join their vibrant international community. About the Role – Primary Music Teacher
You will:

Deliver inspiring music lessons across the primary age range using inquiry and concept-based learning approaches
Teach and lead brass instrument sessions, encouraging student participation and ensemble growth
Support and organize music performances both in and out of school as part of the extracurricular program
Facilitate regular wellbeing sessions to support student development
Collaborate with a dedicated team of educators committed to holistic student growth

Requirements

Minimum 5 years’ proven teaching experience in primary music education
Strong subject knowledge of music education and teaching across Primary age groups
Experience teaching the English National Curriculum and EYFS inquiry-based learning methods
Enthusiasm for fostering creativity and student engagement through music
Ability to lead brass instrument sessions and encourage ensemble development
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting student welfare (enhanced DBS/police clearance required)
