Job Overview – Primary PHE Teacher
As a Primary PHE Teacher at BSJ, you will:

Deliver high-quality physical education lessons across the primary year groups
Promote teamwork, confidence, physical literacy, and healthy lifestyles
Plan and lead a variety of sports and physical activities, both recreational and competitive
Encourage participation and inclusion for all students, regardless of ability level
Stay at the forefront of educational trends and adapt your teaching to meet student needs
Contribute to a wide range of school-based sporting events and extra-curricular opportunities

Requirements

Minimum 5 years of teaching experience in physical education at the primary level
Excellent subject knowledge and up-to-date best practices in PHE teaching
Experience with the English National Curriculum, IPC, IB PYP, or similar international curricula
A commitment to inclusive, holistic education and child wellbeing
High energy, enthusiasm, and a collaborative teaching style
A valid teaching license or equivalent teaching qualification
Willingness to undergo enhanced DBS and police clearance as part of safeguarding
