Job Description

YK Pao School is currently seeking a passionate and committed Middle School Science Teacher to become part of our enthusiastic team at the Hongqiao campus. This role offers an incredible opportunity to inspire curiosity, nurture a love for discovery, and develop critical thinking skills among our dynamic Years 6–8 students. As a Science Teacher, you will play an essential role in guiding young learners to explore and understand the natural world through engaging and impactful educational experiences.

Requirements
  • Possession of a relevant degree, along with a UK PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification that grants QTS (Qualified Teacher Status).
  • A minimum of 2 years of post-qualification teaching experience.
  • Strong familiarity with the National Curriculum of England, particularly in Science.
  • Proven experience teaching IGCSE and/or A-Level Science.
  • Experience working with students for whom English is not their first language.
  • An Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) clearance or equivalent as part of the application process.
