The location

Mongolia, bordered by both China and Russia, is the birthplace of the infamous Ghenghis Khan. Although, despite its history of brutal warfare, Mongolia is an extremely warm and friendly place. On the other hand, if you want to immerse yourself in the Mongolian culture of old, travel to see the annual Naadam Festival, one of many annual festivals, with its Mongolian pageantry, competition, and national celebration. With competitions including horseback riders competing against one another using Mongolian bows, similar to the days of Ghenghis Khan. In a culture famed on its scenery and love of horses, enjoy a journey across Mongolia like never experienced, a journey on horseback, with the nomadic locals. To gain a deeper insight into the country’s past, visit the National Museum of Mongolia, and, to many people’s surprise, some interesting dinosaur discoveries. With the first-ever dinosaur eggs and largest dinosaur footprints being found in Mongolia’s Gobi Desert, the country is more than simply horseback rides and Genghis Khan artefacts. The Gobi National Park, known for its dunes and snow leopards, spans nearly 27,000 square kilometres.
