Welcome to www.flyteachers.com. Through accessing our website, you give your consent to adhere to, and be legally bound by, our ‘Terms and Conditions for Candidates’. Combined with our ‘Privacy Policy’, our Terms and Conditions provide a holistic paradigmatic lens for which to view the relationship between FlyTeachers and the Candidate in accordance with our website. Should the candidate disagree with any of the information outlined in our terms and conditions, we strongly advise you not to access our website under any condition.
Terminology and Definitions
The definitions outlined below are there to limit the Candidate’s ambiguity of the terminology expressed throughout our ‘Terms of Business for Candidates’ and ‘Terms of Business for Website Users’. It is therefore the responsibility of the Candidate to query any definitions at [email protected] should there remain any ambiguity in relation to the definitions provided.
- The terms ‘FlyTeachers’, ‘Agency’, ‘us’, ‘we’ or ‘our’ refer to the owner of the website, whose offices are registered at International House, 24 Holborn Viaduct, London, EC1A 2BN, United Kingdom and 602 , Yeongdong-daero, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, Republic of Korea. Our company registration number is 267-19-01206, registered in the Republic of Korea.
- ‘Terms and Conditions’ or ‘Terms of Business’ refer to all of the terms explicitly outlined within this document relating to the Candidate’s conduct.
- ‘Visitor(s)’, ‘you’, ‘your’, or ‘their’ refer to any user or viewer of our website not registered with FlyTeachers.
- ‘Candidate(s)’ refers specifically to a registered user of the FlyTeachers website, through having agreed to our Terms and Conditions, created an account and uploaded personal information.
- ‘Educational Professionals’ refer to all positions applicable to the education sector and all persons under those titles in search of employment, be they considered Visitors or Candidates.
- ‘Client(s)’ refer specifically to a school that has signed our ‘Client Terms and Conditions’.
- ‘Unaffiliated Client’ refers to any school that has not signed our ‘Client Terms and Conditions’.
- ‘Employment’, ‘Employing’, or ‘Employed’ refers to the contractual agreement between Candidate and Client and all points in time under the legal obligations of said contract.
- ‘Employer(s)’ refers solely to a Client and their responsibilities and duties to the Candidate employed by them. FlyTeachers is not associated in any legal manner as an employer of the Candidate.
- ‘Third party’ refers to a person or group besides the two primarily involved in a situation.
- ‘Unauthorized source’ refers to a person not granted access to your personal login information, but who may be in possession of it nonetheless.
- ‘Curriculum Vitae Database’ or ‘CV Database’ refers to a database comprising of CVs submitted to our website by Educational Professionals in the search of employment.
- ‘Action(s)’ refers to behavior conducted by the Candidate that breaches the contractual agreement between Candidate and Agency and warrants the application of a penalty.
Terms of Business for Candidates
Communication with Clients
In the event the candidate finds a vacancy advertised on FlyTeachers, which results in communication between the Candidate and the Client, the Candidate must carbon copy FlyTeachers into all correspondence at [email protected].
Candidate Contracts
Any Candidate registered with FlyTeachers, and who subsequently finds employment with a Client via our services, agrees to send us a copy of their signed contract within seven (7) days of having received it from the Client. Should a Candidate sign a contract with an Unaffiliated Client without using our services, the Candidate agrees to notify us of their employment within seven (7) days of signing said contract.
Penalty Fees
The table below outlines the actions deemed to receive a penalty and the penalty that applies to each action performed by the Candidate. Additionally, the Candidate should carry out any of the listed actions, our Agency reserves the right to revoke the Candidate’s access to our online platform.

Service Costs
The candidate under the following circumstances may incur costs:
- if the Candidate is required to purchase a valid and up-to-date police clearance, they should not possess one or if their original police clearance was issued more than six (6) months prior.
- if the Candidate is required to purchase a foreign jurisdiction police clearance.
Please note: it is the Candidate’s responsibility to pay the full fee of any police clearance requested by FlyTeachers in relation to the processing of an application.
Suspension or Termination
Without prior notice, we may suspend or terminate access to or use of our recruitment services, should the Candidate:
- submit false, misleading or deceptive statements or claims to either the prospective Client or the Agency.
- fail to comply with any other provisions explicitly outlined within these Terms of Business.
Should any of the scenarios warranting suspension or termination occur, FlyTeachers would be under no obligation to provide the Candidate with any information previously submitted to us via email, website or any other mode of communication.
Relationship of Parties
The Candidate is fully aware of, and acknowledges and agrees to the fact that the agency is an independent service provider. As such, our agency is not considered in any way to be an employer of the Candidate.
Disclosure and Barring Service
Candidates using FlyTeachers’ services to obtain employment in a school context must never have been known to, or have been the subject of any:
- Children’s Services or Police Departments as being a risk or potential risk to children.
- investigation made by an organization about behavior towards children that has subsequently led to disciplinary procedures or sanctions.
Agreement of Terms of Business
By clicking the box with the phrase, ‘Accept our Terms and Conditions’, the Candidate agrees to having fully read and understood our Terms of Business, and accepts and agrees to these terms. The Candidate may also agree to our terms by emailing [email protected].
Terms of Business for Website Users
Eligibility
Visitors to our website consent to being eighteen (18) years of age or older and having the capacity to agree with our Terms of Business and form binding contracts with both Agency and Client(s).
Purpose of Website
Our online website, flyteachers.com, is an online recruitment service created exclusively for the recruitment of Educational Professionals. Accordingly, the purpose of our website is twofold. First, our website allows Visitors to browse through, search and view job advertisements. Through uploading their CVs to our CV Database and by creating online profiles, these Visitors help to create a database of information, which subsequently allows us to present CVs and other personal information to potential Employers. Second, our website allows Visitors to register as Clients, providing them with the opportunity to browse through, search and view CVs and profiles of Candidates. Thus, assisting Clients in the recruitment of Educational Professionals.
Precision of Information
As an agency, we publish information on our website to assist Visitors to our website in the employment process. While we make every reasonable effort to check the validity of the information presented on our Website, you acknowledge and accept that the accurate representation of information is not always possible. As such, we expressly exclude liability for any such inaccuracies or errors fully permitted by law. Therefore, we do not guarantee the correctness, opportuneness, fullness or appropriateness of the information and materials found or presented on our website for any particular purpose. Should you encounter any misreporting of information, please do not hesitate to contact us directly and immediately at [email protected]. It is therefore the sole responsibility of the Candidate to conduct their own research and independently verify information about the Client, job, country and region, through the Client website and other sources, before considering a serious application and job acceptance.
Suspension and Termination of Services
In the circumstances of a Candidate or Registered User is suspected of presenting inaccurate or unreliable information, the Agency reserves the right to suspend or terminate their privileges to their online account. Moreover, FlyTeachers may at any point, under certain circumstances and without prior notice, suspend or terminate your access to our website.
Intellectual Property
Trademark
Trademark protects items that help define a company brand, such as the website domain name and logo. The Visitor is aware of and accepts that any trademarks mentioned, used or cited on the FlyTeachers website are the sole property of their legal owners. As such, we do not permit any rights to the use of protected materials. Subsequently, you agree with and acknowledge that you will receive no right, title or interest whatsoever in respect of such intellectual property rights under these Terms of Business.
Copyright
Correspondingly, Visitors are required to abide by all copyright notices explicitly branded on our Website. Copyright refers to any literary and artistic works legally occupied by the owner. This material includes, but is not limited to, the design, layout, look, appearance and graphics of the website or any other artistic or literary work. It is the full responsibility of the Candidate to ensure the privacy and confidentiality of their username and password associated with gaining access to their personal profile on flyteachers.com. In the event your account is accessed through an Unauthorized Source, you must immediately notify us of the breach of security. In addition, the Candidate should believe their personal information to be made accessible to an Unauthorized Source, the Candidate is solely responsible for changing their password as to avoid a potential breach of their online account. FlyTeachers shall not be in any way liable for any loss or damage that the Candidate may ensue arising from their failure to comply with these Terms of Business.
Indemnity
The Visitor agrees to compensate FlyTeachers in its entirety against any violation of these Terms and Conditions or any other rights, which result in any claims or demands, liabilities, damages, losses, costs and expenses.
Subject to Change
These Terms of Business are subject to change without notice and may be modified at any time as viewed necessary by the Agency. Candidates are therefore encouraged to revisit these Terms of Business regularly to check for updates.
Governing Law
The Terms and Conditions are governed by and shall be construed in accordance with the laws of The Republic of Korea and each party submits to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Korean courts.
Agreement
The Candidate accepts and agrees to these Terms and Conditions, which you acknowledge you have fully read and comprehend, whenever you access the FlyTeachers website and by checking the consent box stating that you ‘Accept our Terms and Conditions’.
Introduction
The FlyTeachers Privacy Policy governs the processing of all personal data provided to us by way of the flyteachers.com website. This policy outlines what personal information our company holds about you, the method of data collection and the use of said data. FlyTeachers’ goals and objectives as data controller
When it comes to candidates’ personal data, our aim is to ensure that their data is kept safe and secure and free from exposure to anyone except FlyTeachers, third parties identified by the candidate and the schools we work with. Please note: permission will be sought from candidates before any of their personal data is shared with any of our schools. Flyteachers specializes in the recruitment of educational professionals for a range of schools worldwide. In agreeing to the Privacy Policy, candidates consent to sharing FlyTeachers’ aims and objectives.
Information held by us
‘Automatic information’ means any gained information through the candidate visiting flyteachers.com. Information includes, but is not limited to, webpages visited and number of candidates who visit our site.
‘Direct information’ means any information provided by the candidate. This can be information submitted at flyteachers.com when declaring interest in a position, registering an account or modifying an account. Additionally, through telephone conversations with any member of the FlyTeachers’ recruitment team or via emailing FlyTeachers directly. Information includes, but is not limited to, the candidate’s:
- Name, job title, email address, current address, location preference(s) and mobile number
Curriculum vitae, qualifications, passport, DBS/police clearance, photograph and references relating to employment history - Please note: It is the candidate’s decision as to whether or not they provide their personal information (data). Candidate’s are aware, however, that by not submitting certain information, they may be unable to access certain website functions.
‘Third-party information’ means any information gathered through a source that is not the candidate. Third-party information includes references gained through direct contact with referees provided by the candidate.
How we use your personal information
Candidates’ personal data is used to allow us to effectively run our online platform. In turn, enabling us to offer our services to candidates and provide them with relevant guidance and support in search of employment. This data may be shared with schools that candidates show an interest in. This could be anywhere in the world, depending on your preference. Furthermore, your data will only be sent to organizations where we have an existing recruitment contract in place. Your phone number and email address will be used to keep you informed of any and all jobs that match your search criteria. Your personal information may also be used for personalizing our services. In the unlikely event, Flyteachers may have a legal obligation to use a candidate’s personal information.
How do we share the information we collect?
FlyTeachers will not share the candidate’s personal data in any way other than as described in this Privacy Policy.
How do we protect personal information?
- Database Storage: FlyTeachers stores all information provided by candidates to us on secure servers.
- Profile Password: FlyTeachers’ website, flyteachers.com, enables candidates to create their own personalized and secure password, which protects intruders from accessing personal information. Please note: it is the candidate who is responsible for keeping their password complex, secure and confidential.
- Illegal Intrusion: Despite having safeguard procedures in place, there is no method of communication or sending and receiving of documents over the internet or electronic storage that is entirely secure and protected. As a byproduct of this inconvenient truth, FlyTeachers cannot guarantee or assure candidates that data stored on our systems is comprehensively protected from illegal intrusion by others.
How can you access and control your information?
Through registering with FlyTeachers, you can use your unique user ID and password to login and have direct access to your online profile. Once logged in, you can update and amend your details, including your CV, work experience, qualifications and job list. Should you have any queries regarding your personal data or wish for your profile to be deleted, thus removing all of your personal data from our database, please contact us at: [email protected].
How long do we keep your data for?
Your personal data will be stored by FlyTeachers indefinitely unless personally requested for it to be removed. In the circumstances a candidate decides for their data to be removed from the FlyTeachers database, they should contact FlyTeachers directly via email or telephone specifying their decision to revoke their information from said database.
What are your rights?
In certain events, and in relation to data protection laws regarding a candidate’s personal data, FlyTeachers confirms the following rights to each subject:
- The right to be informed about the collection and use of your personal data
- The right to request access to your personal data
- The right to request the amendment of personal data we hold about you
- The right to request the erasure of personal data
- The right to object to the processing of your personal data
- The right to request the restriction of processing personal data
- The right to request the transfer of data to another party
