Job Description

YK Pao School is seeking a visionary and knowledgeable Director of Teaching and Learning (Lower Primary) to provide leadership and expert advice in developing, evaluating, and enhancing the school’s teaching and learning programs. This role requires deep expertise in designing curriculum in a bilingual context, alongside a strong commitment to cultivating a culture of thinking. Collaborating harmoniously with the Director of Student Life (Upper Primary) and as a key member of the Campus Leadership Team, you will play a pivotal role in driving excellence and innovation in education. Requirements

Possession of a relevant degree, along with a UK PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification that grants QTS (Qualified Teacher Status).
A minimum of 6 years of post-qualification teaching experience.
Significant experience in curriculum development and instructional leadership, preferably in a bilingual or international school context.
Proven track record of designing and implementing innovative teaching and learning strategies.
Experience in fostering a culture of thinking within educational settings.
Experience working with students for whom English is not their first language.
An Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) clearance or equivalent as part of the application process.
