Job Description

FlyTeachers is seeking a High School Mathematics Teacher to join a thriving Singapore-curriculum international school in Pantai Indah Kapuk, Jakarta, Indonesia. We are looking for a dynamic and experienced mathematics teacher to deliver high-quality instruction in Mathematics to high school students. This role requires a teacher who can balance academic rigor with student engagement, helping learners develop a deep understanding of mathematical concepts while cultivating their analytical and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver Mathematics lessons aligned with the Singapore curriculum, ensuring students meet rigorous academic standards.
Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students, from advanced learners to those needing extra support.
Use innovative teaching methods and technology to make mathematics engaging and accessible.
Monitor and assess student progress through assignments, tests, and exam preparation, providing constructive feedback.
Prepare students for IGCSE examinations, ensuring they are confident and well-prepared.
Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum materials, share best practices, and enhance teaching strategies.
Communicate effectively with parents about student progress and growth.
Participate in school life beyond the classroom, including co-curricular activities and special projects.

Requirements

Minimum 5 years of teaching experience, with a strong record of success in high school mathematics.
Proven experience teaching IGCSE and/or A Level Mathematics is mandatory.
Valid teaching license/certificate from your home country or recognized international authority is required. Applications without a valid license will not be considered.
Strong understanding of the Singapore curriculum and IGCSE assessment standards.
Excellent classroom management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire students.
Fluency in English, both written and spoken, with strong communication skills.
Adaptability and cultural sensitivity to thrive in a multicultural international school environment.
Passion for fostering curiosity, resilience, and a love of learning in students.
