Job Description

YK Pao School is seeking an experienced and dynamic Middle School Director of Teaching and Learning to lead and oversee the quality of teaching and learning at our HQ Campus. As a vital member of the Campus Leadership Team (CLT), this role includes monitoring, evaluating, and enhancing educational programs while serving as the primary contact for government-related teaching and learning requirements. Requirements
  • Possession of a relevant degree, along with a UK PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification that grants QTS (Qualified Teacher Status).
  • A minimum of 6 years of post-qualification teaching experience.
  • Significant experience in curriculum development and instructional leadership, preferably in a bilingual or international school context.
  • Proven track record of designing and implementing innovative teaching and learning strategies.
  • Experience in fostering a culture of thinking within educational settings.
  • Experience working with students for whom English is not their first language.
  • An Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) clearance or equivalent as part of the application process.
