Job Description
British Education Korea (BEK) is seeking an outstanding Secondary Mathematics Teacher to join its dedicated teaching team for an August/September start. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced educator to teach the British Curriculum in one of South Korea’s leading international education environments.

The Role
As a Secondary Mathematics Teacher, you will deliver engaging and challenging Mathematics lessons that encourage students to become confident problem-solvers and independent learners. You will teach across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, with the opportunity to teach Key Stage 5 depending on experience.
You will:
- Plan and deliver high-quality Mathematics lessons following the British Curriculum.
- Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all students.
- Monitor, assess, and report on student progress.
- Prepare students for GCSE and, where appropriate, A Level examinations.
- Create a positive and engaging classroom environment.
- Contribute to extracurricular activities and the wider school community.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to continually improve teaching and learning.

Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree with a recognised teaching qualification such as PGCE, QTS, B.Ed., or equivalent.
- Experience teaching Secondary Mathematics within the British Curriculum.
- Strong classroom management skills and a commitment to delivering outstanding teaching and learning.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of an international teaching team.
- A passion for inspiring students and helping them achieve their full academic potential.
Visa Requirements:
- Candidates who are currently based in South Korea are highly desirable, as they will be able to transition into the role more smoothly.
- Applicants who are currently overseas will also be considered, provided they have the necessary documentation and eligibility to obtain a Korean work visa.
- Candidates with existing Korean visa status or relevant visa documentation will be prioritised.
