Job Description

Location: Daegu, South Korea
Position: ESL Teacher
Start Date: ASAP
Age Group: 5-year-old children

FlyTeachers is looking for a dynamic ESL Teacher to join Hillside Collegiate School in Daegu. You will teach 5-year-old children using engaging, hands-on activities and interactive lessons that make learning English fun and effective.

Responsibilities:

Teach English to young learners (age 5) using active, hands-on methods
Plan and deliver interactive, playful lessons that encourage participation
Create a safe, stimulating, and supportive classroom environment
Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback
Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the learning experience

Requirements

Must be currently based in Korea
A Bachelor’s degree with a teaching certificate or license from an accredited institution.
Ideally have at least one year of full time teaching experience
Fluency in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Available for ASAP start

Benefits

Starting from £1,200 to £1,500 per month, depending on qualifications and experience.
Housing or a housing allowance if you already have accommodation in Korea.
Free tuition for kindergarten-aged children enrolled at HCIS
Round-trip flight provided at the start and end of the contract year.
Approximately 28 days off annually, including public holidays.
Comprehensive coverage provided.
Equivalent to one month's salary for each year of completed service, paid at the end of the contract.
Contributions to a pension plan included.
