As a Chemistry Teacher at Markham, you will:

Teach Chemistry to students aged 12–18 at IGCSE and IB Diploma level
Plan and deliver engaging, inquiry-based lessons in English
Support departmental planning and contribute to curriculum development
Provide strong pastoral care and inspire students to achieve academic and personal excellence
(If appointed as Head of Chemistry) Lead departmental strategy, assessment, and professional development

Requirements

A relevant university degree and teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE or equivalent)
A minimum of 2–3 years of experience teaching Chemistry, ideally at IGCSE and/or IB Diploma level
Experience in curriculum design and leadership (preferred for Head of Department consideration)
A commitment to student-centered learning, international-mindedness, and safeguarding practices
