Position Overview: Grade 1 Teacher

As a Grade 1 Teacher at Hillside Collegiate, you will be responsible for fostering a love of learning in your students through engaging and interactive lesson plans. Your role will involve creating a stimulating classroom environment that nurtures curiosity and encourages students to develop their social, emotional, and academic skills. Key responsibilities include:

Curriculum Development: Designing and implementing creative lesson plans that align with educational standards and cater to the diverse learning styles of young children.
Student Engagement: Creating a warm and welcoming classroom atmosphere that encourages student participation, collaboration, and exploration.
Assessment and Feedback: Evaluating student progress through various assessments and providing constructive feedback to support their growth and development.

Requirements

To be considered for the Grade 1 Teacher position at Hillside Collegiate, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

A Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field, along with a valid teaching license.
Experience: Ideally, candidates should have experience teaching Grade 1 or similar early childhood education settings, demonstrating a strong understanding of child development and effective teaching strategies.
Visa Status: Due to the tight timeline for this position, we prefer candidates who are already based in Korea or have all necessary paperwork ready for obtaining a Korean visa.
